Colorectal Surgical Anatomy

23 – 24 June 2025

Knowledge of anatomical landmarks, their variants and topographical relations is essential for colorectal surgery. This knowledge is the basis for safety, effectiveness, and patient benefit. New concepts have been introduced to colorectal surgery. Therefore, it is necessary to reorganize and reevaluate anatomical landmarks.

The training model of the Tübingen School of Clinical Anatomy allows for placing anatomical knowledge into specific surgical contexts – in a highly innovative, diverse, and application-oriented manner: anatomists assist in the dissection of specific surgical regions on body donors from the institute’s own body donation programme.

This course will focus on right hemicolectomy, left hemicolectomy, and low anterior rectum resection.

Course fee: 850 € (one-day) or 1700 € (two-day) + 19 % VAT resp.
